THE MOMENT IT ALL CHANGED…
I was at a friends house for tea and her parents told her she could not leave the house until she had washed all of the dishes. Eager to leave I helped her with the washing up.
Then I saw it. In the midst of soapy bubbles there stood an Ecover washing liquid bottle on the kitchen counter. A trial bottle, much smaller than today’s average sized smart phone.
I continued to use the already opened washing up liquid bottle but, the Ecover bottle intrigued me.
At the time I was 13 years old and living as an average family. I had never seen or encountered anything considered environmentally friendly.
I thought hippy products were bog wash and a waste of time. But, something made me think more about that washing up liquid.

After years of experiencing the environmental destruction we are committing daily,
I came to the realisation that environmental friendly wasn’t just a buzz word.
It’s a lifestyle and a choice.
And that was it!
From then on I make sure every decision, purchase and journey is as eco-friendly as possible.
